I was blessed enough to win a free styling and shopping consultation from Genelle. From the moment she connected with me, I felt truly comfortable in her care and safe with expressing vulnerability. I have struggled with my new mom body and feeling comfortable in clothing. Not only did Genelle take the time to get to know me, my styles and preferences, but she spent time in my home going through my closet and explaining what items were flattering with my shape and what I needed to let go. It was like she gave me permission to step into the new me. She made me feel comfortable and confident. After that, she has remained a trusted friend and has always taken the time to answer questions and provide suggestions of what would look best on me!!!
When I was planning my wedding, I reached out to Genelle to talk about what I should wear for a bra under my dress. She took the time to meet with me and try on several different styles of bras and undergarments. I had no idea that there were so many!!! She helped me to find something flattering yet sturdy and surprisingly comfortable that was in my price range!!! I never felt rushed or pressured. Genelle was present and made me feel like I was important. Although you couldn’t see them, my bra and undergarments were the perfect addition to my day! I will forever be grateful to Genelle for giving me back a piece of my confidence that I thought was gone forever.

Genelle brings an incredible amount of care and attentiveness to her fitting process, unrivaled by any other fitting experience I have had. From meticulously finding the right fit and shape, to ensuring that the garments suited my lifestyle and comfort preferences, she left me thrilled with every aspect and outcome of the fitting experience. I know that not only did she want me to look my best, but she wanted me to FEEL like my best and most confident self as well. Genelle helped me realize how very important foundation wear is to having a flawless “finished” look. The comfort and confidence I gained from the fitting kept snowballing too; it had a positive impact on significantly growing my enthusiasm for getting ready and dressed for the day.
After a highly successful fitting day, I found myself reaching for clothes that not only looked better because of the foundation wear I was now wearing, but also getting excited to get dressed for the day and better express myself through my apparel. Genelle works some magic during those fitting sessions as well. Every person I’ve talked to who has had a fitting with her describes the process as almost almost even therapeutic in the sense that they walked away feeling like more confident and secure with themselves as well. She truly has a gift, and I am grateful that she is sharing it with others.

From start to finish, and beyond, I am very grateful for the info, tips and all round support in upgrading and stabilising my wardrobe. Each mission brought me closer to pretty much my ideal wardrobe, and the best part is that I didn't have to throw out my entire closet to achieve this. After analysing my different styles, organising my current closet and just two shop till you drop days, oh and lots of capsuling, getting dressed is quick, fun and personally satisfying.
Yes, I like the comments and compliments I get for my outfits but there's just something as I said, personally satisfying, from successfully managing another aspect of my life. It's just basic efficiency, with a flare of fabulous! Thanks ImaGen! :)

Genelle was a wonderful help in finding foundational pieces that worked for me and bras that fit right and were appropriate for all different outfit types. Genelle did a thorough consultation to understand my taste and what I was looking for. She helped go through what I already owned and discussed what worked and what didn’t and helped explain why. She put words to what I was seeing and didn’t like, but wasn’t aware what the problems were. She helped me pick out figure flattering items and took me out of my comfort zone of all black. She challenged me to embrace color and styles I would not have otherwise thought worked for me.
I also appreciate how sensitive and supportive she was. Clothes and body shapes can at times have emotion tied to them and she took any and all shame away, and instead really helped me love and celebrate my shape by fitting it in the right clothing. I wear almost all the items that I purchased with her on a regular basis, and I take what I learned from her whenever I make clothing purchases!
